Yui Sakamoto

Yui Sakamotoは、1981年に愛知県生まれ長崎県育ちの日本人アーティストです。

彼の作品は、メキシコにおけるシュルレアリスム（超現実主義）の、
豊かな歴史を受け継ぎながら、
日本文化、メキシコの民俗芸術、コロンブス以前の工芸品、
そして現代の文化的背景をシームレスに融合させた、
カラフルで精緻な夢のような表現が特徴です。

今回のコラボレーションでは、
彼の独創的なアプローチによって生み出される作品を
SON OF THE CHEESEの商品にアレンジを加え落とし込みました。

Collaboration items with artist Guy Billout

 

Guy Billout (born 1941 in Decize) is a French artist and illustrator. In 1989 Billout won the Hamilton King Award and in 2016 he was inducted into the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame. Billout's style is clean, precise, often with ironic elements, rich colors and exquisite craftsmanship. His style and technique often depict his parallel dream world where something is out of the ordinary and surreal.
